Cyber security

Protect what you've built before it's needed

Cyber attacks target businesses of every size, and small businesses are often hit hardest. We put layered, practical protection in place so your data, your systems and your reputation stay safe.

The threat is real

Prevention is always better than recovery

Phishing emails, ransomware, stolen passwords and unpatched software are behind most breaches. A single incident can mean lost data, days of downtime, upset customers and difficult conversations with insurers and the ICO.

Good security doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. We focus on the measures that make the biggest difference, apply them consistently across every device and account, and keep them up to date as threats change.

  • Managed, business-grade endpoint protection on every device
  • Systems patched and monitored continuously
  • Accounts locked down with multi-factor authentication
  • Backups that are tested, so you can recover if the worst happens

Layered protection

Security at every level

No single product stops every attack. We combine people, process and technology so that if one layer is bypassed, the next one holds.

Endpoint protection

Centrally managed antivirus and threat detection on every laptop, desktop and server, with alerts handled by us – not ignored on a screen.

Patch management

Operating system and application updates applied automatically, closing the vulnerabilities attackers rely on most.

Identity & MFA

Multi-factor authentication, strong password policies and sensible admin rights, so a stolen password isn't enough to get in.

Email security

Filtering, authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) and sensible mailbox settings that stop spoofing and cut down phishing.

Firewalls & networks

Business-grade firewalls, segmented networks and secure remote access, with unknown devices blocked and flagged.

Device encryption

Laptops and desktops encrypted, so a lost or stolen device doesn't become a data breach.

Backup & recovery

Encrypted, off-site backups kept separate from your systems – your safety net against ransomware and human error.

Security reviews

A clear assessment of where you're exposed, prioritised into a practical plan you can actually act on.

Staff awareness

Straightforward guidance that helps your team spot phishing and scams – because people are your first line of defence.

Our approach

How we secure your business

  1. 01

    Assess

We review your devices, accounts, email, network and backups to find the gaps that matter most.

  2. 02

    Protect

We put the right controls in place, starting with the quick wins that give the biggest reduction in risk.

  3. 03

    Monitor

We watch for threats, failed updates and suspicious activity, and act on alerts before they escalate.

  4. 04

    Improve

Regular reviews keep your defences current as your business, and the threats it faces, change.

Attackers only need to get lucky once. Our job is to make sure they never do.

FAQs

Common
questions

Can't see what you're looking for? Ask us directly.

Is my business too small to be targeted?

Unfortunately not. Most attacks are automated and opportunistic – they look for weak passwords, unpatched systems and unprotected email, regardless of company size. Smaller businesses are often targeted precisely because they're seen as easier to get into.

What is multi-factor authentication and do we need it?

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) asks for a second proof of identity, such as a code from an app, as well as a password. It blocks the vast majority of account takeover attempts and is one of the most effective security measures you can put in place.

Can you help if we've already been attacked?

Yes. Get in touch straight away. We'll help contain the problem, secure affected accounts and devices, restore data from backup where possible and put measures in place to stop it happening again.

Do you help with cyber insurance questionnaires?

Yes. Insurers increasingly ask about MFA, backups, patching and endpoint protection. We can help you answer accurately and close any gaps they highlight.

Will security measures slow my team down?

Done properly, no. We aim for protection that works quietly in the background, and we roll out changes like MFA with clear guidance so the transition is smooth.
