Backup & recovery

Your data, safe whatever happens

Hardware fails, files get deleted and ransomware strikes. Our managed backup service protects your business data automatically, keeps it encrypted off-site and gets you back up and running quickly.

Why it matters

A backup is only good if it restores

Many businesses believe they're backed up until the day they need to recover something. Backups that silently stopped weeks ago, or files stored on the same machine as the originals, are far more common than you'd think.

We manage your backups end to end: setting them up properly, checking every day that they've completed and testing restores regularly, so when you need your data back, it's there.

  • Fully automatic – no one has to remember
  • Encrypted before it leaves your device
  • Monitored daily with failures followed up by us
  • Restores tested regularly, not just assumed

How we protect you

Backup done properly

Off-site cloud backup

Your data is copied securely to an enterprise-grade EU data centre, completely separate from your office and devices.

Local backup too

Where it makes sense, a local copy on site gives you the fastest possible restores for everyday mishaps.

End-to-end encryption

Data is encrypted on your device before upload and stays encrypted in storage, so only you can read it.

PCs, laptops & servers

Protect the files on individual devices as well as your servers and shared data, wherever your team works.

Versioning & retention

Multiple versions are kept, so you can recover a file from yesterday, last week or before something went wrong.

Daily monitoring

We check backup reports every day and fix any failures quickly, rather than discovering problems too late.

Restore testing

We regularly test that data can actually be restored, giving you confidence the safety net works.

Ransomware resilience

Off-site, versioned backups mean you can recover clean copies of your data without paying a ransom.

Help when you need it

Need something back? Just ask. We'll restore files, folders or whole systems for you.

Getting set up

Protected in four simple steps

  1. 01

    Assess

We identify what needs protecting – devices, servers and shared data – and how quickly you'd need it back.

  2. 02

    Deploy

We install and configure backup on your systems, with sensible schedules and retention.

  3. 03

    Verify

The first backups are checked and a test restore is carried out to prove everything works.

  4. 04

    Manage

We monitor every backup daily, follow up failures and keep testing restores over time.

A backup is only good if it restores. We test ours, so you never find out the hard way.

FAQs

Common
questions

Can't see what you're looking for? Ask us directly.

What is the 3-2-1 backup rule?

It's a widely used best practice: keep three copies of your data, on two different types of storage, with one copy off-site. Our service is designed around this approach so a single failure, theft or disaster can't wipe out your data.

Isn't OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox already a backup?

Not really. File sync services are brilliant for sharing and access, but if a file is deleted, corrupted or encrypted by ransomware, that change can sync everywhere. A proper backup keeps separate, versioned copies you can roll back to.

Where is my data stored?

Off-site backups are stored in a secure, enterprise-grade data centre in the EU, encrypted at rest. Local backups, where used, stay on your own premises.

How quickly can you restore my data?

Individual files can usually be restored within minutes. Larger restores depend on how much data is involved, and local backups can speed things up significantly. We'll agree what's realistic for your business at setup.

Will backups slow down our computers or internet?

After the first full backup, only changes are sent, so day-to-day backups are small and quick. Schedules and bandwidth limits can be set so they don't interfere with your working day.
